Habitat

The orgin of the Crested Gecko can be located to the islands of New Caledonia.  It is only here that it can be found in the wild, although many breeders have began breeding the species as pets and now are found in a variety of homes.  It is in the rain forests of New Caledonia that they can be located, living their fascinating lives.  In the wild these are found in the lower levels of trees and among the leaves on the ground.  They are primarily naucternal and once nightfall arrives, they begin to become increasingly active.  They jump from tree to tree, almost as if they glide, feeding upon both insects, plants, and fruit.

If there are any questions any one has, I shall do my best to answer them to the best of my knowledge.
